Halliches Hoietfescht!

Es Hoietfescht is the Urglaawish Haymaking Festival. It is a celebration of the first grain harvest. It is a time of revelry, celebration, games, joyous conversation, and community building.

Hail to community!
Hail to friendship!
Hail to the deities!

To Erda at Hoietfescht

Grandmother Erda,

Show me the way.

Teach me to nourish the soil.

Guide my hand when planting.

Share with me the joys of a bountiful harvest.

Keep me grounded during the frozen winters.

I love the paintings you make on the land in wildflowers,

as well as the songs you write in the forests and the woodlands.

Guide my hands to do your work, so that I may revel in your work.
